Claddagh Ring - Minimal
This Claddagh ring is a reimagining of the traditional Irish design, stripped down to its essential elements. The usual ornate details give way to smooth, flowing lines, and the hands take on a more natural form. The result is a modern ring that balances symbolism and simplicity.
The Meaning Behind the Claddagh The Claddagh ring carries a long history of representing love, friendship, and loyalty. Wearing the ring has traditionally carried meaning:
- Heart pointing outward – Open to new connections.
- Heart pointing inward – A sign of commitment.
While originally a piece tied to Irish heritage, the Claddagh has transcended its origins, becoming a quiet reminder of the bonds we form and carry with us.
Features:
- Modern version - Features a helical motif that coils along the ring and reminds Irish decorations, find it on my Makerworld page
- Minimal version - Features a minimal band, this one here on Thangs.
- Monochrome or dual-color – Print it in a single material or highlight the heart with a contrasting tone.
- Customizable fit – Easily scalable to different sizes.
Size chart In the 3mf file the ring is already scaled at 124,4%. The most common male ring size at 117,2%, ISO 62 (US size 10, 20.16mm inside diameter ). Scale to 100% to obtain ISO size 54 (6 and ¾ US, 17,2 mm inside diameter), which is the most common female ring size. Follow the attached size chart as a reference.
If you want to print the colored version, I'd suggest printing the monochromatic one to check you have found the right size.
