Description

A tensegrity print-in-place table that prints without supports.

When printing use the 0.3mm layer height, make sure ‘detect thin walls’ is checked and put your seams at the rear. When sliced you should be able to see the single strands of filament and there should be no empty layers.

there should be 3 strings in a triangular shape not on the same side.

How come there are only strings supporting it on one side? Wouldn't it be better to have strings on both sides?

The middle strings are the only ones supporting weight. The outer strings are just so the top can't wobble around, but don't support any weight, so really as long as there is enough to prevent that wobble you don't need more. By having them only on one side that kinds of makes it more visually impressive by being able to hide them in the back.
