Paint the cannons with an aluminium‑tone metallic such as Vallejo Steel 71.065 or AK479 Aluminium.

Metallic paints don’t require varnish, but they do need a longer curing time. Allow at least 24 hours for a full dry.

To add a subtle rusty effect, mist a very thin coat of Vallejo Burnt Umber over the surface.

For the hose, use a scale hose with a 2.5 mm outer diameter and a minimum 1.0 mm inner diameter.
