Gingerbread House Lantern
One last lantern for Christmas – The Gingerbread House Lantern! I didn’t make a gingerbread man hand this time, but I might if you convince me to 🙂
Printing: Parts that require supports:
- House
- Roof_Candy
- Candy Cane
- Ring
The roofs include an AMS version (recommended if you can multicolor print), but a non-AMS version is also available. With the non-AMS version, you’ll need to switch colors at the correct layers: Snow → Gingerbread → Snow (White → Brown → White). The result isn’t quite as nice as the AMS version, though.
The _Candy roofs include slots for inserting candies, but since they require supports, the surface finish may not be as clean as the regular roof. You can also glue candies onto the regular roof — both versions require glue anyway — so it’s really up to you.
Candy Cane: I added an AMS version, but you can achieve the same result by switching colors at different layer heights.
Assembly:
This model does require gluing, so please keep that in mind 🙂
- Glue the windows and bottom glaze to the house
- Glue the candies to the roof
- Glue the ring to the top of the roof
- Optional: Print the shades and insert them into the internal walls
