Wanted an easy way to hang my backdrops. You'll need 608 bearings (skateboard bearings, you can get like 100 on amazon for $20) and some M6x30 screws and nuts. No supports needed. Best way I've found to seat bearing is use the handle of a screwdriver to tap it in, and that will get it pretty centered.
