Mosaic pattern - Used for Skirt
This is a 45 x 45 square grid with 3 different patterns. This was used for a skirt. A total of 8 full panels were printed, attached together with UV curable resin, and then sewn onto a base material. I get this multi color finish by using an AMS unit from Bambulabs with my P1S / P1P printers. You can easily change the colors of the pattern, or recolor them yourself if you have that skillset. I use a two way polymesh material for the best fit.
This print is .64mm high. I use a .4mm nozzle and .2mm layer height. The first layer is .24mm, there is a pause built in before the second layer starts where a thin mesh fabric must be set and held in place by either magnets or tape. The print is then resumed, and completed on the third layer. These layers generally need to be printed at slower speeds. My average is 50mm/s (as low as 35mm/s), with a hotend temp around 220. I like using a build plate with a holographic effect, but the textured effect can be just as cool.

I have tried multiple times to print this but keep having missing spots on the first layer. I even tried to slow down the print of the first layer. any suggestions appreciated. I bought this one to see if I was able to do it and if so expand into your membership. thank you. It is such a. beautiful piece,
One of the greatest challenges is proper first layer adhesion. My key is an isopropyl alcohol wipe before every print. One workaround is to print the missing pieces separately and using a UV curable resin to attach them from the backside to complete the pattern. I think the colors that you chose are fabulous!
