Flat band fidget ring
This is a fidget ring that consists of two pieces with a small gap in the middle that allows the outer ring to spin freely around the inner ring. There are 12 ring sizes: 3-14. There will be future versions of rings that will work on the same base ring design. Stay tuned!
Customize these by adding fuzzy skin to the outer ring, or by embedding text or hidden messages. What color combinations can you think up?
There are two methods of printing these. There is a preset 3mf for Bambu Lab, Snapmaker Orca, normal Orca, and Prusa. All STL files are included if you'd like to load them into your own slicer. Printing with a .12mm layer height using Arachne wall generation is ideal.
The first method uses a TPU ring for the inside, I like printing the inside ring in 85a-95a. The outer ring can then be printed in a harder material and swapped out as you like. If you are printing with this method, you won't need supports.
The second method is print in place with the inner and outer rings in a hard material (great for multicolor combinations). Once they are printed, they won't be able to be removed. There are two heights of outer ring, one that requires supports, and the other that doesn't.
There is also a ring stand with a built in size guide in case you need to reference the rings. There are two versions of TPU rings, one that is labeled, and another that is not. The labeled rings were intended to help with commercial sales, as was the ring stand.
