Adjustable Strap (48"/122cm max length)
This is a 3D printed adjustable strap to be used for purses, bags, accessories, etc.
The strap needs to be printed in a flexible filament. I've had success with a range of shore hardness levels. I think my personal preference is in the 85-90a range.
The hardware is to be printed in a rigid material. I prefer to print the hardware in HTPLA, PETG, or PLA+.
There are three versions to choose from. The first uses E6000, superglue, or your preferred adhesive. The second uses 6mm cap width x 5mm post length rivets, although similarly sized rivets can work as well. The third uses a simple saddle stitch technique to sew the ends together after the swivel clasp hardware has been attached.
It takes around 3 hours to print and 5-10 minutes to assemble.
Please refer to the photos and video included for additional guidance on how to assemble these straps.
