Filament Swatch
Description: Introduce order and style to your 3D printing workspace with the Filament Swatch. This 3D printable design is a thoughtful remix of LinearRelation’s model from the Filament Swatch Library, tailored for ease and functionality.
- Sleek Design: With its rectangular shape and smooth rounded edges and big enough to get all the details, each swatch is a pleasure to handle and examine. The design is minimalist yet highly functional, perfect for the modern maker.
- Convenient Hanging Hole: A neatly placed hole in one corner allows you to hang or group your filament samples. Use a string to create a swatch collection that’s both organized and display-worthy.
- Label Ready: While the swatch itself bears no text, it accommodates a standard label size of 2.54cm x 3.175cm (1" x 2-5/8"), making it easy to identify each filament type at a glance.
- Customizable: The swatch’s design is CAD-friendly, allowing for customization directly in your slicer software. Add text, logos, or any other identifiers to make each swatch uniquely yours.
- Print and Sort: Ideal for makers who value both aesthetics and practicality, the Filament Swatch is a must-have for anyone looking to streamline their filament collection.
Happy printing, and may your Filament Swatch swatches bring a new level of organization and efficiency to your 3D printing endeavors. 🖨️🌈

Is this Swatch model compatible with the Eryone Swatch Box? I printed the 30 Swatch tool box base, but these swatches didn't 'click' into place and if I pushed any harder the vertical fins would have snapped. These swatches appeared to be too thick for the 30 Swatch/ 2 compartment toolbox base. Any suggestions?
Yes, They should fit, I use this box with 60 swatchs when showing to clients. They are bit hard to snap on the bottom lock, but if you introduce them at 45º will be easier to fit.
Fantastic thanks, I've worked out what I was doing wrong. Excellent suggestion for the 45 degree entry angle, also I was trying to put them in the wrong way round. Worth noting the triangle hole needs to be at the top , and towards the fins. The slight rail inside the fins needs to click into the side with the recess (where you might emboss the text), not the flat back.
Now I've rotated them they are clicking into place. Thanks for the help and great design frikarte3D.
