Here's a quick, fun print for the holidays. These require no infill. They're very light.

With my settings, they will print in about 2 hours. I've included versions with and without built-in supports. The supports really make printing them easy and the supports release cleanly and effortlessly.

PRINT SETTINGS

• Layer Thickness: 0.15mm
• Walls: 0.4mm (1 line)
• Top/Bottom: 0.45mm (3 layers)
• Infill: None
• Supports: None
• Build Plate Adhesion: Whatever works best for your printer (see below)
• Print Speed: 60mm/sec
• Outer Wall Speed: 30mm/sec
• Travel Speed: 80mm/sec

You REALLY don't need infill for these. Infill will only add weight, slow the print, and possibly mar the outside of the ornament. If you add infill, I will waggle my finger at you just like your mom used to (and probably still does).

Whether you use a skirt, brim or raft will have to depend on your printer. If you have a heated bed, the bed is leveled well, and you get good adhesion, a skirt will work well. If not, you may need a brim or raft to keep the tip of the ornament adhered to the bed for the first few layers.

If you use the versions with built in supports (recommended) you shouldn't need any other supports. If not, you'll definitely need to add supports to keep the model from moving in the x-y plane and getting ripped off the bed.

And, if you use the ornaments with built-in supports, after you slice the model, check the first layer. If it doesn't include both the supports and the tip of the ornament, lower the model slightly below the bed and slice it again. Start with 0.05mm - 0.1mm and lower it more if you need to.
