Wood-like ACOTAR Symbol Prints
For those of you on the discord or those of you who follow my social media accounts, you would be aware that I've been experimenting with these 'wood' like prints. I call them WoodForge, but that's just me.
I learned how to make the 'wood burn' effect in Affinity, and then traced the ACOTAR symbols into SVG so that I could manipulate it in the software and add the various wood burning effects to the line art. And then I hueforged it.
They turned out so well (these photos really don't do them any justice). I've attached a 3MF file for all five symbols, and they all have the exact same layer swaps to maintain a cohesive wood-like effect.
I don't usually attach my .hfp files, but I this time I have included the individual .hfp files for those of you who do have the HueForge software. This is so you can blend your own 'wood' effect - since you can do it so many, many ways. I chose to use a more pale, beigey wood but with the .hfp you can experiment with darker/more oaky wood blends if you like!
I also shrank the X and Y dimensions to about 100mm x 100mm to turn them into coasters (image of the smaller prints attached)! I bought some self-adhesive cork material from AliExpress and stuck them under the print and now I have my very own set of bookish coasters - feel free to do that too, except remember not to adjust the Z height!
So TL;DR:
- I've attached the 3MF file for all symbols, including all layer swaps
- The describe.txt file can be used for all 5 symbol prints
- I've included individual folders of each symbol that contains the .hfp files
- Feel free to resize them into magnets or coasters or what not 🙂 Just don't adjust the Z height!
