This is a print that looks like it's an embroidered piece. Seeing the print physically in real life is mind bending, knowing that it's completely 3D printed and not a single strand of yarn was used for this.

The 3MF file will have all instructions for Bambu Studio/Bambu printers included. If you do not want to use the 3MF please use the included STL file and the following instructions:

Print Instructions Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.20mm

Filaments Used:

  • PLA BambuLab Matte Charcoal Transmission Distance: 0.6
  • PLA CC3D Orange Transmission Distance: 7.4
  • PLA CC3D Lemon Yellow Transmission Distance: 8
  • PLA Sunlu Beige Transmission Distance: 8.2
  • PLA BambuLab Basic Jade White Transmission Distance: 5

Swap Instructions:

  • Start with Charcoal
  • At layer #8 (0.76mm) swap to Orange
  • At layer #13 (1.16mm) swap to Lemon Yellow
  • At layer #16 (1.40mm) swap to Beige
  • At layer #17 (1.48mm) swap to Jade White for the rest.

For the .3mf (I haven't tried any others) : 1) There are two .3mf in the zip file, apparently exactly alike? 2) The .3mf file doesn't seem to have the referenced Bambu instructions mentioned in the description. 3) Instructions talk about changing filaments at layers 14, 23, 29, 31 but only 24 layers are generated by Bambu Slicer at .08 layer height. This looks lovely on the website; any idea how to print the .3mf to make it work correctly? At 1M+ triangles, I doubt I can make any changes...

Hi there! I just downloaded the files (hitting Download All) and its giving me the correct files, 1 3MF and 1 STL. Can you try again please?

The 3MF file has all the correct swaps already programmed into the file (up to layer 24) so if you just use the 3MF, those are already correct!

The written instructions on the site seem to have the wrong layer # on them (thats on me, I'm sorry!), but the layer height is correct - I'll amend that now, thank you so much for the heads up!
