"The Rav’kharr are a towering race of nine-foot-tall, muscular beast-men who dwell in isolation on three fortified islands formed by two great rivers south of the Faewyrn Forest. Living in balance with the land and avoiding most human contact, they hunt east and south while guarding the narrow northern pass that connects their homeland to the mainland. When crops and trees near this pass begin to rot and die, a small scouting party is sent to investigate, discovering a creeping blight spreading out of the Faewyrn. Deep within the corrupted forest, they encounter the Barkfiend—massive, animated horrors of dead wood and dark magic that consume the land to sustain themselves. The violent clash reveals the blight is not a natural decay but an advancing invasion, forcing the Rav’kharr to realize their homeland and people are now directly threatened."
