"The Forest of Faewyrn is a cursed land where ancient sorcerers once imprisoned evil souls and demons by sealing them within living trees. Over thousands of years, these spirits infused their malice into the wood, eventually transforming the trees into mobile, monstrous beings known as Barkfiends. At night, anguished cries echo through the forest, fueling dark tales of Marazhar, one of the oldest and most feared of the Barkfiends, who is said to torment wandering souls deep within the shadowed heart of the woods."
