Hextraction Cartoon Bomb Tile
Turn your opponents' plans into a smoldering crater with this bulbous banger. It might be the most excessive explosive in Hextraction, the hackable, 3D-printable board game.
The Enormous Cartoon Bomb is pretty much what it says on the tin - it's a big, fat cannonball bomb ripped straight out of Looney Tunes and plopped right onto your game board. The effect triggers when the three-ball rule destroys the tile, causing it to take all of its neighbors down with it. For best results, line up a few copies in a combustible conga line to set up a devastating chain reaction.
This tile isn't just silly - it's genuinely useful in multiplayer games, where conflicting plays constantly clog up the board. It'll create just enough breathing room to get a new tile in play, while significantly delaying the Overdrive endgame. Don't forget that rules card!

All of my Hextraction tiles have a built-in sacrificial support under each notch - remember to snap it off after printing. Enable the brim if these detach from the bed.
Hextraction is a 3D-printable, modder-friendly board game designed by me, Zack Freedman of Voidstar Lab. In addition to tiles, you'll also need 10mm steel balls or 3/8" slingshot ammo and a game board. To learn the rules and how to get started, watch the Hextraction video!
Hextraction is absolutely free - it's free of charge - all of my models are here on Thangs, commercial use allowed. It's free-form - you can play with any number of opponents, even zero. It's free to modify - you can create your own tiles and configure your own board.

I did a fix with the new rules text and a depressed star. https://thangs.com/mythangs/file/948368 It has a version with the rules text on the tile.
Would be nice to have an updated card that says it blows up when destroyed with any mean (like how it's said in the video or the description), cause as writtent it can't do chain reactions.
Should say this: "On destroy: Destroy all adjacent tiles."
I printed these in PETG, and it's very hard to get balls to collect inside the bomb. Once the first ball is held, balls entering with any momentum at all hit the raised star in the center and hop right over the edge. It's fun, but we haven't gotten one to explode yet.
Same with PLA+. Current "fix" is to never place the tile with the open side up, so the balls curve a bit. Haven't tried it, but I think a piece of filament could be stuck to the star, like the pachinko tile, so balls bounce off of that first.
https://than.gs/m/876266 I have inlayed the star for this model to prevent that!!
