Blue Painter's Tape Dispenser wall mounted V4
Try out this blue tape dispenser!
I used to work in restaurants, and so I always use blue painter's tape in my kitchen to label things and as a great general use tape. This dispenser makes it even easier. You never have to find the end of the roll and you can easily tear off a piece of any length with one hand. You must mount the dispenser to the fridge or wall with command strips or double sided tape. Let me know if you want a version with screwholes but I figure most people will put it on the side of their fridge.
I will be updating this model as I prototype better and better "teeth" for the blade but it works well already, I just know it could be better. Let me know if you have any tips on printing really sharp corners.
There are two dispenser sizes, 1.5 inch (38mm), and 1 inch (26mm), for different width tape.
Pictures show several versions, as I still use v3.0 in my kitchen (I dont like wasting stuff) but the files are all the most recent v4 model. The old versions were made in Sketchup before I learned Fusion360!
The models require supports to print.

Hey over a year out Idk if youll ever see this but thank you so much for uploading a pic of your print, basically one of like 3 people ever to do that for my work and I really do appreciate that. I try to upload pics of everything I print too and I dont do it enough. cheers!
Would there be any chance that you could remix these to add hooks that would allow this to be placed on an Ikea Skadis pegboard?
I cant do it right now but I will look into making a generic platform for people to glue whatever they want to a pad with skadis hooks. since i cant believe I cant find something like this already on Thangs. give me a week or so.
alternatively you can use something like https://thangs.com/designer/CuriousCoon/3d-model/Bolt%20%26%20Nut%20Adapter%20for%20Ikea%20Skadis%20Pegboards-972218 and drill a few holes in my tape dispenser, (or even modify it before the print for screwholes) There are many other skadis printables on thangs, another might be even better an option than this. and if you got creative you could easily modify one just by putting it in your slicer and only print the side you want by putting it in -z
So i would do love to do that but the mounting hooks would interfere with the way my print is designed to print. The best thing to do would probably be to make a second piece with 2 or 3 Skaddis hooks on it and print it separately and glue them together. I do not have any skaddis board and cant test this, but Its a great chance for you to learn fusion! this would be a really easy project and fusion360 is free https://i.imgur.com/fjITsfT.png here is a reference I found for the skaddis dimensions
