Summary

The Blue Crab is a popular icon in the Chesapeake Bay region and is designated the Maryland State crustacean. Blue crabs are found in brackish coastal lagoons and estuaries from Nova Scotia, through the Gulf of Mexico, and as far south as Uruguay. Prized by humans for their sweet, tender meat, these wide-ranging, ten-legged crustaceans are an established representative of Chesapeake Bay culture. Their scientific name, Callinectes sapidus, means "savory beautiful swimmer."

Thank you 2

Why are you uploading public models as if they are your own?

Thank you for clarifying, Dan. I hope I didn't come across too harsh.

Thank you for writing in, @3domsculpts! Sorry about the confusion! I work at Thangs. I upload CC0 models here for two purposes:

  1. Blog Posts: I sometimes need to take screenshots of new features for our blog at blog.thangs.com, so I use CC0 models for "demo" purposes.
  2. Bug Testing: Notifications were not working earlier today for Likes/Comments, so I wanted to test with a public account before filing bugs.

Employee accounts are ineligible for contest rewards, too. Hope this helps clarify!
