I got hooked 3D printing while building a scale model of an amusement park.  Note that since most of my models are designed with Blender, you’ll need to reduce their scale by 50% for printing.

This is a simplistic recreation of the Sampson kiddie Ferris wheel at Mountain Park in Holyoke, MA.  It was created for my park model:  http://www.karenandjay.com/mtpark/mpmodel/mpmodel.html

You'll need 2 of these.  Place the cabs over the posts and then glue the posts together.  The cabs should freely swing.

You'll need 2 sets of these.  The large ones face the sides.  Glue one of the smaller corner pieces perpendicular to each large one.  Place a 10 gauge wire or a small dowel through the top of the supports and through the sides so that the wheel freely spins.
