This is a camera mount for adapting a standard camera base screw to a 2" PVC pipe. I've used this to mount different cameras for viewing the night sky and raise the camera above tree and roof levels. Use a 1/4-20 x 1.5 bolt to secure the camera through the ball feature. It fit pretty tight on the pole I used but you may have to shim or tape if the joint is not tight.
