Sacred Heart Antique Book Box – Gothic Ornate Hidden Storage

A highly detailed antique-style book box featuring a Sacred Heart centerpiece with flame, crown of thorns, and cross, surrounded by rich baroque scrollwork and roses. Designed with deep relief and strong contrast to bring out every detail when printed and painted.

Perfect as a hidden storage box, decorative piece, or gift. The hinged design opens like a book, making it ideal for keeping small valuables while blending seamlessly into a shelf.

Optimized for clean 3D printing with bold, durable details that paint beautifully using dry brushing and antique finishes.

Print Notes:

• Print upright for best detail
• Works great with PLA, Matte PLA, or PETG
• Ideal for hand-painted antique finishes (bronze, aged gold, ivory highlights)

Print Settings: Supports: None needed. Ignore any slicer warnings about supports. Infill: 5%-15% (can be reduced if desired). Print Orientation: Print in place, as shown in the images. Size: Do not resize. For custom sizing, please contact me. Assembly Requirements: Magnets: Two 10mm x 2mm magnets are needed to secure the box and book cover. Glue: Apply glue to affix the magnets in the slots provided and glue the box to the bottom cover.

Assembly Instructions: Paint First: Paint all parts before assembly for the best finish. Attach Magnets: Use super glue to secure the magnets in place. Glue the Box: Apply wood glue to attach the box to the bottom book cover. Secure with Tape: After gluing, close the lid and wrap the entire book with masking tape to hold it firmly while drying.

Allow to dry completely before handling.

Please Note: This model has only been tested on a Bambu Lab P1S. If you're experiencing any issues using a different printer, feel free to reach out.

Paint Used (Atelier): Raw Umber undercoat, layered with Pale Gold, Toning Grey Yellowish, and White highlights. A subtle light blue wash (diluted blue) was applied to enhance contrast and bring out fine details.
