Do you have a recommendation for how to insert the magnet inside the cover once it's printed? Or do I need to pause the print to glue it in?
Hi, I used a pencil and some masking tape (or double-sided tape) to secure the magnet. I placed a drop of super glue into the magnet hole, then carefully lowered the pencil with the magnet into the hole and pressed down firmly. After waiting about 5 minutes for the glue to set, I pulled the pencil out.
Thanks for sharing — we all start somewhere, and it's great that you jumped into painting! The most important part is experimenting and learning as you go. Every make helps you improve, and it really does get easier (and more fun) with practice. When I first started, some of my early paint jobs were rough too — but with time, your skills grow. Keep at it!
