eSun Refill to Bambu Spool Adaptor
Print this adaptor to use eSun Filament Refills together with Bambu Lab spools. This lightweight but sturdy adaptor ensures a secure fit so your filament doesn't unravel. It prints in under 2 hours using less than 45 grams of filament.
Along with the STL file, I've included 3MF project files for Orca(BambuLabs) and Prusa(Qidi) Slicers with preset settings. Otherwise, you can use the settings below for best results:
Printing Guidelines
- 0.2mm layer height
- 2 Perimeters
- 5 top and bottom solid layers
- Disable 'Extra Perimeters', 'Ensure vertical shell thickness', 'Fill gaps', and 'Detect narrow internal solid infill' to reduce uneccessary infill.
- Set perimeter generator to 'Arachne'
- 0% infill
- Set 'slice gap closing radius' to 0mm
- Enable 'Arc fitting'
Prints well with PLA or PETG. Using filaments that shrink more, like ABS or ASA may cause a bad fit to the spool.
Note: There's a small notch that aligns with one side of the Bambu spool to prevent spinning. Make sure to assemble so they fit together (See last photo).
Note: This model is designed for recent eSun refill spools with 55mm height and 92mm inner diameter. Older refill spools may not fit.
Photographed model was printed on the QIDI Q1-Pro 3D Printer (Also on Amazon)*
