Description

This is the same planter from The Rail v2, but meant for mounting to your wall using a Command Strip wall mount. This version does not require supports and I've included tabletop versions for both sizes.

Supports None needed!

Scaling I wouldn't recommend scaling the wall mounted versions since they perfectly fits the Command Strips or #8 - #10 x 1" screws and anchors. The tabletop versions can be scaled however you like.

Orientation

Everything prints upright with its bottom on the build plate
The wall mount prints flat with the sliding dovetail facing up

Print Settings

.2mm layer height
15% grid infill | 15% gyroid infill for wall mount
2 walls
Set bridge flow to 1.6 for drip tray and wall mount

Filament

Bambu Lab Matte PLA

Colors I used:

Latte Brown

Hardware

#8 - #10 x 1" screws and anchors
3M Medium Picture Hanging Command Strips

The description mentions a tabletop version being included in this file. however, i don't think i see it? What's the model name for the tabletop version?

My fault! I thought I had them in there. The tabletop versions for both sizes have been added to the files as well as the 3mf.

I tried to size up the inner pot to about 180mm on the x/y axis and the prints keep failing. Trying to make an ~8" pot. Any ideas on how to fix the model to allow it to print?

So your the reason i bought a 3d printer.

Please can you help me get it right? So if i download the rail v2 and these planters it has all the parts to make the rail (purchasing the dowel separately) and these planters with all necessary attachments to fix the planters to the rail?

Also is there anywhere that could point me to how much filament (matt pla) 4 x planters and he rail v2 will use?

I purchased/downloaded the rail v2 files. They contain everything needed for the rail (all included files can be viewed in the photo section via a dropdown menu).

I weighed all the parts (two large and two small pots with all the attachments). They weigh approximately 1.3 kg. I used standard PLA.
