MiniBit Thumb Driver - Screwdriver, Misc Bits
I made this simple two-piece thumb driver bit when I needed to remove and install something that was in a very confined space and a screwdriver or socket wrench wouldn't fit. The assembly is very simple - place a magnet in the bottom piece then click the magnet plate to the bottom of the piece with the hexagonal socket for the driver bit. It is wide and flat with ridged edges so you can get a good grip on it and turn it in confined spaces. The driver bit slots into place and is held by the magnet underneath. Super simple. I used a 1cm X 3mm magnet. You can remix it if you need to use a magnet of a different size. It's simple, easy and it works.
