If you’re in continuing education or community spaces with heavy foot traffic, it’s likely you’re stowing your backpacks and laptops under desks or conference tables to avoid tripping hazards. Bag Hooks are nothing revolutionary and there’s quite a few on Thingiverse and STL sharing sites, but I have yet to see a heavy duty bag hook. Not to mention it’s a gnarly shape that catches quite a few eyes and gets the dialog going on additive manufacturing.

This bag hook accommodates table thicknesses of 0.75"-1.75". While there is a fair amount of flex under load, I have yet to exceed 60lbs (27kg) with CF reinforcement. If your bag weighs more than 60lbs, perhaps it belongs on the ground - or on wheels!
