This model can be used as decoration, a fidget toy, or to store gifts like Easter chocolate.

This Woven Filament Easter Egg uses strands of raw filament to create its structure. You simply place one end of the filament strands in the base, weave the strands together and secure the other ends in the top piece.

There are many possible weave patterns you can use and is super fun to explore the options.

The best part is you don't need any glue to keep things in place.

The "Base" and "Top" are very easy to print, I suggest:

No support 0.15-0.2mm layer height 3 (or more) walls 5 (or more) top/bottom layers 10% (or more) infill For the body you will need 16x 1.75mm filament strands of 15cm length (varying the length will allow for different patterns).

I highly suggest using a 1.8mm drill bit (by hand) to clean up the "Top" and "Base" holes before inserting the filament.
