I know this is old but do you know how to stop the rings from fusing together? I tried different wall thickness and it keeps fusing no matter what.
You can either adjust X-Y compensation (a little negative value) or calibrate your flow rate (or just try a little less and hope for the best). Overextrusion is the cause for fusing print-in-place gaps usually.
What are the print settings?
Pretty much the defaults will do. 0.2mm layer height is fine with 15% infill.
