I got hooked 3D printing while building a scale model of an amusement park.  Note that since most of my models are designed with Blender, you’ll need to reduce their scale by 50% for printing.

This is a recreation of the Eli Bridge Big Eli Ferris wheel.  It was created for my Mountain Park model:  http://www.karenandjay.com/mtpark/mpmodel/mpmodel.html

Print 16 of these, best on their backs.  You might need supports.  They will fit onto the pins on each side unit.

This is the central hub for the wheel.  It passes through each wheel center and is glued onto the strut.  If you want the wheel to spin, make the hub about 1 mm smaller in diameter than the hole at the wheel's center.

You'll need six of these.  Two need to be taller than the hub when it's positioned so that the cabs can clear the ground.   They are glued to the hub, perpendicular to the wheel.   The other four are half that height and are glued on the inner rail of each side of each strut, forming a tripod to support each side.

These are sized to glue onto the sides of the wheel spokes, positioned at the second ring from the outside of the wheel.  They help keep the wheels at the right distance from each other.
