About Wookieeprint

Hi there, I'm Nick. I'm a mechanical engineer and I run Wookieeprint along with my partner Caiti who is a graphic designer.

With 15 years of engineering experience, I began 3D printing as a hobby and in early 2024 I took the plunge and started a business selling my 3D prints... and somehow it’s grown into an Etsy shop with 850+ 5⭐ reviews and over 8,000 sales

During this time we have had a blast attending local markets and conventions and learnt so much. I get a lot of joy out of creating functional prints, fidget toys, anything that scratches that nerdy engineering itch – and most of all seeing people enjoy my creations.

We’ve had so many people ask if we can sell our files and for business advice, so I figured it was time to start sharing more of what happens behind the scenes, including my models and the spreadsheets and tools we use to stay organised and grow the business.

I’m starting this Thangs account because I genuinely want to help others learn about 3D printing, design and how to build their own business, the same way we did. If you’re into practical designs and fun little gadgets, or if you’re trying to grow your own creative small business and want resources to make it easier, you’re in the right place.
