Steampunk Dragon Dice Tower
Happy Sunday Everyone!
Todays extra file, is the amazing Steam Punk Dragon Dice Tower!!
Both Sassie and I love playing D&D, and to show of different dice towers, and here is a new one, that I think looks great :)
A steampunk dragon, sitting majestic on top of a big monkey scull!
Read the story:
"Rustclaw, the ruler of the Junkyard
Deep within the Wrenched Wastes, where clouds of steam rise perpetually from bubbling pools of alchemical runoff, lies a vast junkyard of discarded inventions, shattered gears, and corroded metals. This chaotic domain is ruled by Rustclaw, the legendary steampunk dragon a creature of aweinspiring design and unmatched ingenuity.
Once a great dragon of flesh and bone, Rustclaw got severly woonded in a battle against a band of heros who sought to harness the power of dragonkind. Instead of death which was sure to come, Rustclaw was remade. His broken body was salvaged by a rogue tinker gnome named Felix Clanksprocket, who sought to bring life to his greatest challange: creating a mechanical dragon!
Over years of tireless work, Felix fused his intricate steam-driven contraptions with the dragon’s remaining essence, breathing fiery life back into the fallen beast.
Now, Rustclaw is both dragon and machine, his brass-and-steel wings spreading wide to blot out the sun, his claws glinting like polished scythes. Instead of a fiery breath, he exhales superheated steam, capable of melting steel and cooking flesh in seconds. His glowing eyes burn with a fiery green hue, fueled by a fusion core deep within his chest.
In his lair Rustclaw is set apart from other mechanical monstrosities. Perched atop a mountainous heap of discarded inventions, broken gears, and rusted cogs, Rustclaw has transformed his junkyard into a veritable fortress. At its heart is a peculiar contraption: an immense steamdriven dynamo constructed from the remains of an ancient warforged colossus. This device serves as both his throne and his lifeline.
To sustain his massive mechanical form, Rustclaw hooks himself to the dynamo from a old colossus monkey skull via thick pipes, allowing him to siphon power from the geothermal springs beneath the junkyard where the skull lies. The device thrums with energy, emitting bursts of steam and arcs of lightning as it charges the dragon’s core.
Surrounding the dynamo are hundreds of smaller monkey skulls, some real, others made of brass and steeltrophies taken from mechanical familiars and unfortunate intruders alike, serving as a chilling reminder of his dominance.
Adventurers whisper tales of Rustclaw's genius and ferocity. Some claim he’s not merely hoarding scrap but building something—a clockwork army or perhaps a weapon capable of reshaping the Wrenched Wastes entirely. Others speak of the twisted pact Felix Clanksprocket made with Rustclaw before mysteriously vanishing, leaving the dragon in full control of the junkyard.
Despite his fearsome reputation, Rustclaw has a strangely majestic presence. The rhythmic churning of his gears and the hissing of his steam vents create a haunting symphony that echoes across the Wrenched Wastes. His mastery over both the organic and the mechanical makes him a marvel and a terror to behold....."
