Gonggi Game

Gonggi Game

Hey hey

So as promised yesterday, here is todays file :)

Our daughter Abbycat3d, startet playing Gonggi with her friends in school, and at first, we printed a version of it for her.

Abby then asked if Sassie could design her own version of it, and here you go!

For those that don't know the game, it is an old Korean game, made popular again, by a certain show (not going to name it), that you can see on the NET (nope not writing the name either, but I think you get it ;) )

Here is what Sassie wrote:

"Today's file is the Gonggi Game with a board, a traditional Korean game that has recently surged in popularity, thanks to its appearance in a well-known TV show.

Gonggi (공기놀이) is a classic children's game in Korea, often compared to the game of jacks. Traditionally, it is played with small stones or special plastic pieces, and it helps children develop hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and strategic thinking. The game involves tossing and catching the pieces in a specific sequence, progressing through different levels of difficulty.

While Gonggi is usually played on any flat surface, this version includes a board, which may add a structured playing field or additional challenges. The game is simple to learn yet requires skill and precision, making it enjoyable for players of all ages.

Due to its recent resurgence in media and pop culture, Gonggi has captured the interest of a new generation, both in Korea and internationally. Whether you're revisiting a childhood favorite or discovering it for the first time, this game offers a fun and engaging experience for everyone!"

We hope you like it :)
