Print as in STL file (no supports), insert in frame, rotate 90 degrees clock-wise to lock, slide in cable, done :)

naming

I find it hard to describe the clips/clamps/thingies so I decided to give them a name.

Bill: The Bill clip is 10 x 20 mm, you insert it inline with the profile and twist clockwise to lock. Now the clip is perpendicular to the extrusion, and the cable runs parallel to the extrusion. Bill is the clip you need to run a cable alongside an extrusion.

George: The George clip is 20 x 20 mm, you insert it perpendicular to the extrusion and twist clockwise to lock. Now the clip is inline with the extrusion and the cable runs perpendicular. George is the clip you need to hold a cable that crosses the extrusion.

V1:

Bill v1.stl

first version, 10x20mm, but twist-lock-peg is slightly off-center, therefore;

V2:

Bill v2.stl Bill v2 PK6

same function, but the clip should end up dead-straight on the V-slot extrusion

I was in need of holding cables oriented 90 degrees rotated, so I created;

George v2.stl

using a 10x20 mm format resulted in a hard-to-print model that eventually did not sit well on the extrusion, so I made it 20x20mm

V3:

George v3.stl George v3 PK6.stl

The 20x20 rotated version was very (VERY) hard to twist-lock and -unlock, so I loosened it just a tad.

I suggest you print one of each first and see which one you like best

V4:

Bill v4 PK6.stl George v4 PK6.stl

I've heard reports that the PK6 version is a little too tight to twist, they should twist and lock easily, stay in place when bumped, but able to be moved with a little bit force. The following files have the lock-nut slightly further out to hopefully hit this delicate balance :)

So, what version to print?

Regular 2020 V-Slot, like Ender printers, Tevo printers etc. (6mm gap in the profile) -> in case of Bill; v2, -> in case of George; v3

PK6 frames and alike (5 mm gap in the profile) -> v3 "PK6" or, in case V3 is too hard to twist -> v4 "PK6"

Requests?

If you need adaptations, please let me know, I like creating these little things :)
