This battery dispenser is designed to hold ten AA, ten AAA and four D batteries. It is top loadable for a FIFO (first in, first out) rotation making it well suitable for rechargeable cells so you can always have the freshest calls on hand. This is meant to be wall-mountable with keyholes on the back.

As you may or may not be able to see, this particular print failed due to a nozzle clog. I had to cancel the print. Deciding not waste that amount of filament again, I simply measured the printed portion and sliced the model so that only the unfinished portion was printed. I glued those together with Weld-On SCIGRIP 16 acrylic cement. This stuff bonds PLA together just like the old model cement used to, before Big Brother decided with was too dangerous and demanded a reformulation. But I digress...Since there is a considerable amount of weight on this joint from the batteries, I decided to add re-reinforcements on either side in the form of thin panels cemented to the sides. Although this is specific to my particular application, I think that they add a nice look to the dispenser, so I am including them here for you to use as well if you choose in the repair.stl file. The top edges are beveled, so be sure that you adhere them correct side out.

No supports are necessary if printed as presented. `

NOTE Due to either a Thingiverse bug or (more likely) shadowbanning, my models no longer show up under the [Newest] listings. If you want to see more of my models, please be sure to 'follow' me. If you print this, it would really help if you'd post a 'make' so that others could find this model.
