Get your favorite Maker's Mark at RMRRF with the Creator Capsule. A unique multicolor 3d model designed specifically for capturing autographs and stickers from your favorite Makers, Content Creators, or just a person you admire a lot. A big thanks to 3DPrintBunny for allowing me to use her RMRRF string art as a baseline for the capsule. All pieces print with .2mm layers except the sheets. The sheets are only .3mm thick. I printed them with a .2mm first then a .1mm on top. You could do three .1mm layers too. ** This model has fairly tight tolerances, the sheets must NOT be more than .3mm thick** 2 fronts available 4 color blend and an 8 color. The 4 color blend uses a bit of orange under some blue to give the lake a different shade. You can select any colors of course. The color under the lake is the same as the sun and RMRRF. Use the ground over.2 and under.8 files for the 4 color model if using the stls. 8 color gives you more options for creativity. Have fun with it! The fronts print face down, best to use the 3mf files. I have adjusted the first layer line width to fill in some small gaps. This method has worked well for me with various multicolor prints. The fronts glue into the case tray, this should be fairly straightforward. I used mini clamps along the side after applying the glue/gloop. Gloop is nice but you gotta move fast. I applied glue in 7 spots along the inside of the case tray and not the front underside, 3 on each side then 1 in the back. Then I slide the front into place, moved it forward then back to spread the glue and seat it fully, then clamped! Let fully cure. The case top can be tricky to print, use a brim if you need to. I just used some gluestick and all was good. I mentioned the sheets but will say again .3mm thick! The capsule holds 20 sheets pretty well, any more than that you risk squishing the springs too much and they may lose there springiness' or break. Feedback on this is appreciated.
