Somfy 530R2 CMO Roller Shutter Motor Crown Coupling and Retaining Ring

The crown and tubing adapter for my Somfy 530R2 CMO roller shutter motor shattered, so I needed a suitable replacement coupling to fit inside the ~46mm ID of the mating pipe.

The retaining ring is required or you risk pulling the planetary gear assembly (behind the white cog/gear shown) when removing the newly printed coupling. If your original crown is intact (the black plastic that covers the pictured white cog), this model might not be for you, unless you are OK with removing that crown. If I were in that situation, I would model one to fit around the original crown instead, leaving the OEM crown intact.

The coupling is keyed, so you can be assured it will only re-assemble in the same orientation, should you need to remove the motor again.

If you need to modify this for a different size pipe or tubing, you can find the models on Thingiverse below for your remix. There are two representations of the motor side of the coupling, which you can turn into a hole and subtract out of a simple cylinder or hexagon that fits your needs.

I printed mine solid out of PETG (all walls), and pre-drilled 4 holes through the mating pipe every 90 degrees into the coupling, and used self-tapping screws to secure it.
