I went for coffee at my grandma's house several months ago, and I happened to bring my 3d scanner. I fell in love with a rose with two hummingbirds on her display case. She said she's had it for more than 60 years. After I printed a couple of versions, she told me she preferred the more colorful ones that I made. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
Both will need to be printed with tree supports. I printed mine at .2mm layer height, but you can decrease for better quality. I print the hummingbirds with a small brim, with both their tail and bill touching the build plate. You can add additional negative part modifiers if you'd like to add more hummingbirds. The holes are 3mm wide and 12mm deep
If you have a multicolor machine, you can change the stem and rose color. The hummingbirds are printed with a tri color silk PLA
