This was my first shot at completing a print with tulle!
I would say this one came out well, especially for my first one.
The fabric on the inside is simple fabric from Walmart, I ordered the D-rings on the sides from Amazon, and the Tulle came from a local fabric store, HOWEVER I did order and receive the Tulle combo pack from Kaizen3D and its much easier to deal with.
WELL worth the $12 for the combo pack!
My girlfriend loves this!! I had to print it at 92% scale because of my print bed but it was really easy to print and put together. The stencil for cutting the inner lining was super handy too so thanks!
Printed my clutch in Black and Gold and used Gold Sparkle inside material. Had some issues with layer 3 but I think that was my own fault for having temps too high and speed too fast. All in all the end looking print looks great. I used clear tpu as the strap until I get a chain. I just melted the ends with a lighter and pressed flat. Thanks for opening up a new realm of printing to me. The ladies at the fabric store are going to have their minds blown today!!
Printed on the new Anycubic Kobra 3 ACE combo. ( there's no option to select it)
I may just be really dumb but I bought the magnets and the Chicago style rings, but I can't seem to figure out how or where to stop the print and add in the circle magnets and the mesh... Do you have a longer YouTube video explaining it, by chance Thank you so much ><
We are all new at some point! The pause commands are added at layer 2 and 14, they should be in there already if you download the 3MF file. You should be printing these at .24mm layer height with a .4mm nozzle. Send me an email at kaizen3dprints@gmail.com and we'll get you all squared away!
how do I message you? I have some questions about your membership. For example I need an idea of what kind of prints it would include.
I did this print.
Bambu A1
Hi :) So excited to try this print.
question for you....When I try to slice the file (Bambu slicer (using a P1S with .4 nozzle)) it gives me an error "File is too close to exclusion area, there may be collisions when printing" and then it will NOT let me even slice it. I won't let me slice unless I scale down to 97% which ultimately will change the sizes for the magnets and fasteners. Any way to push pass that? or am I doing something wrong?
Heya! Thanks for the comment, it's a great question! I've just updated the 3mf file, rotating the clutches 180 degrees. The exclusion area is in the bottom left hand corner, approximately 20mmx30mm, to account for the little nodule that pushes on the filament cutter. If the model is too far to the left, an error will come up. To remedy this, rotate the model 180 degrees and you should be good to go!
This should solve your problem, and get rid of the anxiety of removing the prime line in time :D

what size magnets did you use for this scale?
Nice! Loving that color combo
