Very cool! Be even cooler if you showed how to assemble the thing!

Hey man I downloaded this but have no idea how to separate the pieces. i dont have a bambu lab and i wanted to print it with my resin printer. any idea on how i can get the pieces individually?

The V5 of this model now has a multi-color version in separate parts :) https://imgur.com/a/Dx0LHZz Note: You might need to convert the 3MF to an STL. Thangs has a drop down arrow next to the Download Now button which uses a converter, but YMMV. I'll see if we can get an STL version from Jankmart uploaded :)

New options uploaded with separated and oriented STL's. Please let me know if you need anything further.

the third plate in the "separated and multicolor" 3mf looks like it wanted to be a pre-colored / multicolor print set-up, but it's just a full model - and would require either in-slicer or in-real-life painting of all of the details, which... i'm sorry, but no.

the pre-painted 3mf plate should be easy enough to export into something compatible - I tried latest versions of OrcaSlicer, Bambu Slicer and AnyCubic Next - none load as expected.

Pre-colored Bambu Plate has been uploaded.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll upload a pre-colored version soon.

I am struggling with mechanism reliability. printed it as it seems like a nice gift. Do you have any suggestions ? Ignoring the mechanism got a laugh out of me. Would be lovely to get and updated model with short assembly instructions. Did not have any issues printing it on Prusa MK4

Updated model has been uploaded with revised dimensions, aiding strength, smoothness, printing, and assembly. Please re-download! :)

Thank you for the feedback, will get an instruction manual issued early this week. As for mechanism, rotating repeatedly will improve smoothness

I am struggling with the orientation of the objects: can you please provide more instructions on how to orient and what sort of supports to use to print each object?

Morgan A

This has been updated with instructions and better build plates!

Hey there, could you please confirm which printer or slicer you are using? The plates should import well into any slicer pre-oriented.

I'm having a hard time figuring out how to print. Using bambu slicer, PS1 w/AMS

Will update with a Bambu sliced plate tomorrow when I update the model to make it more sturdy!

Could you please do a tutorial on how to slice it for bambulab? I opened it in bambustudio but it looks like its way out of bounds

New versions uploaded. Previous one was done with multiple build plates, which would have required you to add build plates in slicer or move models.

These stl seem to work poorly in cura. Do you have any advice for how to use them. Is there a way to download the parts separately. I've never had these problems with any other 3d files I've purchased, usually if they have smaller parts they make them seperate files instead of just cramming them all across a plane in the same file

STL versions have been uploaded!

The V5 of this model now has a multi-color version in separate parts :) Or for resin printers https://imgur.com/a/Dx0LHZz

Managed to get the model orientated as best as i can to reduce print time and filament changes, the download had loads of floating pieces but of course just adding the build plates in bambu studio sorted that out. as for colouring the model, takes 2 minutes to select the object and add a colour. Legs have printed out alright, mid way through printing the body now....11 hours all in, 160 filament changes on the body alone
