Started printing the pieces to build myself a set of these, I'd warn anyone printing these to be very careful with object orientation, supports and raft/brim settings. The "lip" feature for stacking/aligning the thigh and leg segments is a small 90 degree overhang and unless you've got an resin printer you will not get usable dimensionally correct parts on one or both ends unless you use supports. And prusa slicer makes absolutely terrible decisions when trying to auto orient these parts!
Could try my untested remix. It has no alignment features and will need to be glued together. I just sliced three tiles off the 18 tile board so it would fit the i3.
Hey Zack, I tried printing the 18 slot board 3 times now with nano polymer on the Bambu X1 Carbon with AMS. (I only printed in a single color, 0.6mm nozzle, 0.18mm layer height.
Are you printing with a smaller nozzle on the Bambu or are you printing the smaller boards and connecting them?
I did get the 18 slot board to avoid all the purge+calibrations. Failure is generally on the right side of the printer while facing it and filament is the cheapo Sunlu PLA+ on generic profile for PLA.
Does it use 10mm ball bearings? ---- EDIT: Yup 10mm ball bearings... Link is in the description of the "Hextraction Beta Basic Tiles!" thangs page...
But **** it, where are these secret and super secret tiles? Any hints?
EDIT AGAIN: Found the "super secret" tile, but if that was easy enough, where is the "secret" tile? Couldn't be easier to find than the SUPER secret one... Anyone find it yet? (VDO)

Pretty cool. Have some remixes coming as well. Thanks zack!
the 9 slot board has 7 slots...
So awesome Zack. Am I missing something or is the 9 slot board actually a 7 slot board? To be honest, my 7 year old noticed before I did.
Thank you for giving us this and Gridfinity (1.0)!
Any hints on printing the larger board on a lowly MK3S?

The 9 slot board prints great on Ludacris mode though. It's nice.

Please don't redo gridfinity, I already printed so much.
Ohh.. Now I can't wait for someone to make a gigantic contraption with this and upload it to youtube.
Probably the first to print a working set. prints finish in 30 minutes off of my 3 vorons.
Can't wait to see what comes out of this!
