Lazy Leopard Scruffy Keychain (Bonus/Exclusive!)
Hi friends!
I wasn’t actually planning to post this little one today — I’ve been working on a new model for the weekend, and this leopard was something I sculpted a while ago and only recently colored/finalized. After staring at him for too long, I honestly wasn’t sure if he was cute anymore. You know how your eyes just stop cooperating sometimes.
But! Everyone who replied in Discord was really kind about him, so I thought I’d share him as a small bonus while I finish the weekend release. ❤️💞
About The Lazy Leopard
He’s a very gentle, very tired little chunky creature who has fully accepted being carried by his scruff.
He prints flat on his back, with the keychain or ribbon attaching right where he’s being held. His tail has an articulated loop that lets it wiggle forward and back.
✨ What’s Included
- Scruffy leopard keychain/bauble 3MF/STL
🛠️ Notes
- Prints flat on his back — very simple and friendly to work with.
- I recommend printing at 75% scale or higher to keep the tail strong and flexible. You can go smaller, but do so at your own risk—print strength will vary based on your filament, and remember that silk filaments are more brittle.
- No supports are usually needed.
- Slow first layers are always helpful, especially if your printer prefers a calmer start.
- Not ideal for small children or anyone at risk of choking, as the tail link is a small moving piece.
- Matte or regular PLA works beautifully, and adaptive layer height can help the little face print with fewer “stair-steps” since he lies on his back.
Recommended Print Settings
- Layer Height: 0.16
- Infill: 15%
- Supports: Not usually necessary for most flexi-style files, though you may add them if your machine prefers a bit of extra help
- Pro Tip: If the first layers struggle to settle, slowing the initial layers or gently increasing the bed temperature can make a lovely difference
- Filament: Matte or regular PLA recommended
- Tested down to: 80%
Please remember: no sharing, re-selling, or distributing this digital file (or any modified versions of it) in any way. You’re also not authorized to use my photos or anyone else’s photos without permission.
🎨 Filaments I Used
💖 Little note: Some of the filament links I share are affiliate links. That simply means if you decide to pick something up through them, I may earn a tiny commission at no extra cost to you. It’s such a gentle way to support my work, and it genuinely helps me keep creating new little friends for you. Thank you for always cheering me on — you make all of this possible. 🌸
