BonBon Clicker Collab with SugarPaws 3D 🍬🐭

Hi beans! Happppyyyy end of December!! Last post of the year ;D

I’m really excited to share a sweet little collaboration I worked on this week with SugarPaws 3D (check her out if you haven't!! She is amazing <3) for Valentine's Day!! We had so much fun designing these together!!

🍫🐾 About the BonBon Clickers

SugarPaws designed the large bonbon clickers — an adorable bunny and kitty — plus a super charming magnetic frosting heart box to keep them safe. They’re chunky, satisfying, and feel like little treats!

On my side, I made a rectangle ribbon gift box designed to hold four tiny pocket-sized bonbon clickers.

  • Mouse
  • Bunny
  • Fox / canine
  • Bat

Each mini bonbon comes with different toppings, which adds up to 20 total variations across the four animals. Mixing and matching them has been way too fun.

🎀 How the Box Works

The ribbon box prints in parts and is easy to assemble — just slide & glue the ribbon & bow on, and you’re good to go.

The lid slides on and off with a gentle friction fit, making it perfect for gifting, storing, or just opening repeatedly because it’s satisfying.

The insert is optional, so you can use it as a display box, a little keepsake container, or a proper bonbon holder.

✨ What’s Included (Across the Collab!)

  • Large bunny bonbon clicker (SugarPaws)
  • Large kitty bonbon clicker (SugarPaws)
  • Magnetic heart box (SugarPaws)
  • Square ribbon gift box with optional insert (Mouse)
  • Four mini bonbon clickers: mouse, bunny, fox/canine, bat (Mouse)
  • 20 total topping variations across the minis (Mouse)

🧷 Clicker Fit Tips

These clickers are designed to fit together snugly without glue on Cherry MX/MX style switches, so once assembled, they should stay together securely on their own using just your fingers. Because printers and filaments can behave a little differently, fit may vary slightly depending on flow and tolerance.

To save yourself any frustration, I highly recommend printing a single-color test of the top clicker piece in your chosen filament first. This helps confirm your printer is nicely calibrated for that material before committing to a full print.

If a clicker insert feels a bit tight to insert, that’s usually due to higher flow or natural filament variance slightly changing the internal size. In those cases, gently warming the piece for 1–3 seconds with a heat gun can make a big difference — the clicker should slide in smoothly while it is warm with very little effort. A hairdryer works just as well if that’s what you have on hand (but it might need a longer time to warm up the piece).

Please be careful not to heat the part for too long, as it can soften or deform if it gets too warm.

A few extra helpful notes:

  • Let the piece cool fully before testing the fit to the bottom of the clicker
  • Press the clicker in slowly and evenly rather than forcing it
  • If your printer tends to run hot or slightly over-extrude, lowering flow a touch can help
  • Matte and regular PLA tend to behave more predictably than silky or high-flow filaments
  • If you’re worried about kids or frequent handling, you’re welcome to add a small amount of glue for extra security

Recommended Print Settings

  • Layer Height: 0.16
  • Infill: 15%
  • Supports: Not usually needed
  • Filament: Matte or regular PLA
  • Adaptive Layers recommended for smoother effect, but I did not use them in my prints~
  • Do not resize unless there is a tolerance issue- everything is designed to fit clickers/etc at the current size.
  • Please note, the clicker wrapper has a correct direction. The front of the animal should be facing the thinner part of the wrapper :)

Please remember: no sharing, re-selling, or distributing this digital file (or any modified versions of it) in any way. You’re also not authorized to use my photos or anyone else’s photos without permission.

This collab was such a joy to work on, and I’m really proud of how everything came together. I hope you have fun clicking, mixing, matching, and gifting these! 🍬💕

Stay cozyy,
Mouse 🌙🐭✨
