I made this over a year and half ago, just forgot to post it. Loved the three suction cup mount for expensive cameras. Added to it by making two holes that can be used for a tether, giving an additional safety line, in case the gopro tabs break.
The the mount this is based on, it is made for use with RAM-branded suction cups (https://www.amazon.com/Mount-with-Suction-Cup-Base/dp/B001447JYG/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&qid=1508260533&sr=8-6&keywords=ram+mount+suction&linkCode=sl1&tag=theharfam08-20&linkId=1802577d8728dc2f50e625d7b642a219) , which are awesome. I've had this mount with three suctions cups mounted everywhere on my car. Had it sideways on my driver's side door without a problem; in the rain.
I had it on my windshield and forgot about it when some rain fell. Hit the wipers to clear the windshield, and the wiper broke itself against the mount. You'd think I would learn, but I did this on two different cars. I know; stupid of me, but a good illustration of how well this stays in place on glass.
I will try to remember to upload some better pictures of it on the car.
