This is a custom stop block I designed for my fenceless miter saw system. Video of how the system works here: https://youtu.be/Cj-sCdSqw04
This part was printed upside down (with rails facing straight up). The only supports required are in the horizontal holes which were designed to accept 8-32 heat set inserts for mounting an optional plate. My plan is to make a thin aluminum plate with countersunk holes to mount on that end to create a very durable reference surface.
I found for 1/4-20 T-bolts, print it at 16x. For 5/16 T-bolts, go to 24x. The bolt hole is tight, but it'll work. Both hold well once the knob is tightened. I haven't yet tried to do the heat inserts and screw a piece of aluminum on, to see how the inserts and screws fit.
What size should this be printed? I downloaded it and when imported to my slicer, it is very tiny. Thank you.
