Create your own elegant 3D printed planter with this STL file, designed with a unique water level indicator.

It comes in 4 sizes: Small - 75 mm diameter Medium - 90 mm diameter Large - 105 mm diameter Extra Large - 120 mm diameter

There is both a standard self watering planter, a self watering planter with a wicking system, and of course the classic drip "tray" version.

The self watering planter features a ridge that shows you how much water to pour. This is a design feature, instead of having the small holes at the top, like other self watering planters. You just pick up the inner/top part, and then pour the water.

For the self watering with a wicking system. All you need is some kind of string/rope. I use 4 mm nylon paracord (you will find the a link this, when you download the files).

Recommended Settings: Fuzzy Skin: Adds an appealing texture and conceals z-seams. (Check pictures for settings) Seam Position: Set to random for best results
Height Range Modifier: Apply fuzzy skin to the top visible part only (Check pictures for settings, not necessarily these exact settings)

Printing Instructions/my settings:

  • Ensure your print is watertight by following these settings:
  • Layer Height: 0.15 mm
  • Nozzle Size: 0.4 mm (set to 0.6 mm width)
  • Layer Parameters: 3-4 top and bottom layers
  • Infill: 100%
  • Extrusion Multiplier: Around 1.1
  • Temperature: Increase nozzle temperature or reduce cooling for better layer adhesion

For more details on watertight printing, visit Prusa3D's guide

I welcome your feedback and suggestions. Enjoy creating your perfect indoor garden with this stylish and functional planter!

Coming soon: I will be making accessories, like plate kinda things, that is why there are holes on the bottom.

Note: This is a digital file for 3D printing, not a physical product. You will receive an STL file for personal use.
