Cargo Containers - Design Updates

After many prints and plenty of real-world use, we’ve made two small but important updates to refine the Cargo Containers even further.

Tilting Mechanism

We’ve reduced the tilting angle slightly on all Cargo Containers to increase storage capacity and help prevent items from occasionally tipping out the top - no more leaving extra space “just in case.”

Hinge Spring (1x1 Container)

We’ve also strengthened the hinge spring on the Mini 1x1 container. While it printed perfectly on our Bambu Lab machines, we got feedback that some printers struggled with the thinner flexible spring design on the back. We’ve now thickened and reinforced it, making it more reliable across all printers without needing to alter any settings.

What about Compatibility?

The updated containers are now included as the default files within each Cargo Container download and remain fully compatible with all existing Modular Cases and Labels. If you prefer the original container with the larger tilt angle, it’s still available in the Previous Versions Archive.
