A Captain’s Bluff and the Weight of Command
Two new relics have surfaced in the Pirate Life collection, and they each tell a story... one of deceit and daring, the other of leadership etched in brass. Whether you're at the table gambling your last doubloon or fastening the coat of command, these latest 3D printable models are designed to bring the golden age of piracy into your hands.
🎲 Liar’s Dice – The Pirate’s Game of Wits
https://than.gs/m/1309690
Long before poker ruled the taverns, it was Liar’s Dice that tested the nerves and tongues of those who lived by the sea. Simple in rules, yet deep in strategy, the game relies on bluffing, bold guesses, and knowing when to call a rival’s bluff. Popular with sailors, pirates, and smugglers alike, it was a staple on long voyages where coin was scarce but bravado was never in short supply.
The Pixel and Plastic Liar’s Dice set includes:
- A detailed 3D printable dice cup, complete with two faux-leather strap buttons for a fastening grip.
- Classic six-sided dice, optimized for printability and table presence.
- Cups have ribs for a more random role. While it's a game of deception, we don't like cheaters.
Don't know how to play? We got you covered:
Play it at game night or leave it on display, either way, it’s a piece of seafaring history that invites hands to pick it up and stories to come spilling out.
⚓ Captain’s Anchor Button – A Mark of Command
https://than.gs/m/1321934
Buttons may seem small, but aboard a ship, they could hold great meaning. During the Golden Age of Sail, a captain's buttons were not merely functional, they were symbols of rank, legacy, and authority. Larger than standard fasteners, these buttons were often engraved with anchors, stars, or emblems that carried weight across a deck.
Our first release in the Captain’s Buttons series features a bold anchor design, historically used to represent steadiness, duty, and leadership. Measuring at an authentic 25–28mm, this button is designed for both display and wear, ideal for cosplay, costuming, or collecting.
Legend holds that captains would sometimes hide a single, special button in the lining of their coat, engraved with a cipher or clue, passed only to those worthy of the title. Whether true or not, the idea lives on in this model, whispering of secrets yet to be found. Are there secrets in these buttons?
More button styles will be revealed in time, each one echoing another tale from the high seas.
