I wanted to set up air assist on my K40 laser but after doing a but of research decided not to go with the nozzle type assist. Instead I hooked a pump up to some tubing and then connected it to a brake line. This was really simple to do and ensures that the air is hitting directly on the laser point.
This simple 3d model sits in place around the K40 laser head. It should be a snug fit but I did add a screw hole for an M3 screw in case you want to tighten it to the laser head. The brake line slots into the hole and I did use a bit of super glue to secure it in place.
Here is the exact parts I used for this: Pump: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071GN46SJ/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=wwwdopesonerc-20&linkId=19e6b34a8822944bd0aa48bc4cac4307&language=en_US Hose: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071GN46SJ/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=wwwdopesonerc-20&linkId=19e6b34a8822944bd0aa48bc4cac4307&language=en_US Brake Line: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071GN46SJ/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=wwwdopesonerc-20&linkId=19e6b34a8822944bd0aa48bc4cac4307&language=en_US
