Back to Basics - Experimenting with New Techniques
Thanks for hanging with me over the past few weeks!
I've had a lot of work and family obligations keeping me busy, so I haven't been able to post as many of my designs.
This sleek new snake is here to hold the line while I finish up a few more complex projects: https://than.gs/m/1009793
On the flip-side, I've been experimenting with a few new techniques and new types of models. While I'm working on turning most of those experiments into finished products, I want to keep new models coming for you.
Luckily, some of those experiments have been in minimalist design. I've noticed a lot of demand for smooth/sleek models recently, so I've taken a back-to-basics approach with this latest model.
While a lot of my previous designs have had a lot of texture, I need to remember that MORE isn't always better.
This doesn't mean that I'm switching excusively to simple designs. They're just a way for me to keep growing as a designer while I test out other styles.
What sort of designs would you like to see more of? Is there a particular model you've really loved OR a model you'd like me to make?
If so, let me know!
Thanks again!
