Awesome print. It comes out great. Soooo much detail. I’m highly impressed with the model. Definitely be careful with the Sears Tower antennas. The Trump tower antenna was too small to print for the size I chose (approx. 220x220). I painted the river with blue on the bottom and poured epoxy on top. Now to make a frame.
This is amazing. Just followed you and would love if San Antonio, TX was possible. I’m sure there’s not a large market for that request but thought I’d ask! I need it on a wall print!
When i import this into Bambu Studio it is not oriented properly (rotated about 2 degrees around the z axis). When scaling it doesn't pick up the corners and the edge lengths are off. Has anyone had this issue?
Just use the Bottom Orientation when previewing the Water model. And maybe this is intentional, but the model isn't fully square either -- I printed it scaled up uniformly to get the X to about 8 inches (203mm), and the Y is good bit shorter:

Looks awesome! OrcaSlicer says there are floating regions but I'm not sure I see any. Should I enable supports? I'm printing at around 240mm x 240mm with a .4mm nozzle
I've seen the same warning message on OrcaSlicer, but these have printed without any issues at a few different scales I've tried. There are very tiny overhangs, not big enough to cause issues. For the perimeter walls, use at least 2 and print the Inside then the Outside. This tends to help with tiny overhangs. If you do encounter any issues printing, please let me know.
Edit: Change the wall settings from Arachne to Classic! Sometimes Arachne leaves gaps causing thin features to float.
Please post a Make when it's done, would love to see how it turns out! FYI, I also have larger versions of Chicago available! Soon I'll be adding a model broken into sections to make bigger pieces when assembled together

Wow, love the painted river and epoxy concept. Can you share photos when it's fully assembled and framed too?
What speeds did you print at?

I've not encountered that issue, could you send me a message with a screenshot on Discord? https://discord.com/users/1257057252825759867
Oh, and actually you can notice this rotation even in the 3d preview directly on this page https://capture.dropbox.com/gO4Kb3UslmYpXlmu

do u know how to fix this issue?
I was seeing this as well, importing the water model directly into Cura shows about a 2degree tilt: https://capture.dropbox.com/JzxlMe428DlKCXLr

Thanks for the reply! I'll try it out. I really like this model
