Came out great. Used Silk+ White for the white (eyes). Printing the belly was a bit scary, but wasn't a problem.
Print is a bit larger as expected, this is not the final spot
just printed and it worked very well on a creality K1C,
though the belly needed a brim (large ) as it fell over @ about 75%
looking forward to printing out your other designs
I’m having issues with the small pieces at the bottom near the feet. They are printing oddly and I think that there will be issues holding the belly up once I have that printed.
I’m also getting these odd lines right across the top of the eye area.
Super cool! Just purchased. However, it would've been nice to have an assembled version for multimaterial printers...? I'm gonna try to assemble it all manually in the slicer, but, it doesn't import nicely as one piece when you drag all the pieces in.
yes we are aware of that, we did this design, before real multi-toolhead printer were available. So please give us some time, we try do adapt our old desings as well
I just Bought this, but I don’t think I understand what now?? am I getting the file? Or am I just getting the pieces to put together? I hope I didn’t waste my money.
Turned out great. I had an issue with the bottom tabs on the main body. The tabs were totally messed up but the rest of the print was perfect. Not sure what happened but probably my settings. I modeled an insert in Tinkercad and cut out the messed up bottom tabs as to not waste the print. The inserts worked just like the tabs. Super happy with the design!
I cannot print the main body. I have printed all of the other parts- including the front flap, which was a couple hours.
But every time i go to print the main body, i get a nozzle temp error within 10 minutes. Same filament i've used everywhere else. Same 3mf files (I have to change the machine settings to my x1c. Had to do that for all, but other than that, bambu studio has printed them all).
Only thing i can think is there's something about the actual print head movements that's messing with the temp sensor wires/readings? causing a short or error. Cause it can go multiple hours on other prints, but not 10 min here. I've tried reducing the speed, I've tried changing the orientation, even tried slicing the body in half to see... but every time, nozzle temp error within the first 5 layers.
please try to use bambustudio / orcaslicer.
If you insist on Cura, there is a STLs.zip with all the STL files as well, but generally its prefered to use the 3mf, since all the settings are already applied
It's cute, but the lower flex arms at the bottom did not hold up. I used adaptive layering to try to smooth out the top but it looks like there might have been a speed change right where these failed. Is this why someone requested a version with the flex tabs connected? It's really a bummer since this takes nearly 1/2 of a roll to print the body so I got one more shot at it expending an entire roll.
i am so sorry for your loss.did you only notice it when it was finished?
since you are not the only one, i've added the connected flextab version as default version, so it will print more reliable, at the expense for more manual labor, cutting all 4 tabs loose.
Thanks. Yeah, only noticed after print finished as support trees were in the way of viewing inside. 2nd print is almost complete with additional brim and slower speed settings in these layers.
I also had the belly fail (spaghetti) ~75% through. I suggest not recommending gyroid infill for this part as the resonances created to the part (Bambu A1 printer) cause the part to shake causing the nozzle to miss locate. I changed it to adaptive cubit and added a brim to resolve this.
Good evening. I've tried to print the main body several times. It seems I'm having an issue with the two narrow shaped sections next to the feet. They don't actaully start to connect to the model until much higher up. Everything prints fine and then those sections decide they no longer want to stick to the plate. I have tried washing the plate, as well as swapping between textured and smooth PEI. Do you have any suggestions that I could do to correct the situation?
yes i've added a version where these tabs are connected in the first layer (4_Frodrick_v17_mainbody_connectedFLEXTABS.3mf)
this should mitigate the issue, but keep in mind you need to cut them loose afterwards. ( the easiet way i found is: take a box cutter knife, heat it with a lighter, and carefully slice it open)

thanks for sharing <3
such a cute duo <3

This would be a great Kleenex cover as well
Have you thought of doing any other designs for this? I've had a request for a sheep.
noted :)
anyone try to make it bigger to fit larger rolls? Ive sold about 30 of them but getting a lot of request for one with bigger rolls
Can you make TP holder that the roll rest on for the body and it has legs etc?
can you explain i cant follow ^^

hi Becca, here is a little guide on how to access your models: https://thangs.com/designer/LeHa%20Design/post/%F0%9F%93%81%20How%20to%20Access%20Your%20Membership%20Models-249513
hi, could you make a version to support mega rolls? Charmin ones are ~133.5mm
do you have exact dimensions ? so diamter + height in mm ?
sorry for the late reply, never got notification of response :(
diameter: 124mm height: 101mm
the frog fits already this size (Fits toilet paper rolls up to 125mm diameter | 110mm height )
I am having the weirdest issue with this model.
I cannot print the main body. I have printed all of the other parts- including the front flap, which was a couple hours.

mhm, this sounds likee a error in the slicer, since the model itself has litteraly no influence on the temp.
you can try to use the STL instead, and see if it works.
in the downloads there is a zip file called STLs.zip, extract it, and import the mainbody into an empty Bambustudio instance.
let me know if this works :)
when i try and open the files in cura it says no models in file

thanks for the update, i'll test it mysself, and update the belly file

That seems to have done the trick. Thank you.
Hi, sorry to bother with this question but what are the maximum dimension for the main body? I've got an A1 mini and wondered if it would fit.
its 200x213x188mm , so i think it wont fit on an A1 Mini.
Sorry for the late reply, but tanks for the info! Gotta get a bigger printer soon-ish ^^
I've scaled it down to 0.85 of the original size to print it on my a1 mini. It turned out great. Still fits the toilet paper I use.
